Does the name Malala ring a bell? Just in case you’ve forgotten, she was the hero who had risked her life in demanding education for the girl child. Malala started a charity that aims to ensure girls all over the world have access to education. Her organization, Malala Fund, is hiring.
About Malala Funds
Registered as a public charity in the U.K. and U.S., Malala Fund is working toward a world where all girls can learn and lead. With more than 130 million girls out of school today, they’re breaking down barriers that hold girls back.
Malala Fund advocates for resources and policy changes needed to give all girls a secondary education. The girls Malala Fund serves have high goals for themselves, and thus the organization also have high expectations for leaders who can help them. The organization also invests in local education leaders and front-line organizations — the people who best understand girls in their communities — in regions where most girls miss out on secondary school. They give girls the tools they need to advocate for education and equality in their communities and a platform for the world to hear their voices. They believe girls should speak for themselves and tell leaders what they need to learn and achieve their potential.
The team at Malala Funds challenges the systems, policies and practices that keep more than 130 million girls out of school. Together they are creating a world where every girl can choose a future for herself.
